Nok9 attended the 2017 CES to support the Wireless Power Consortium and promote the Qi standard for wireless charging. This year the emphasis was on the newer extensions of the specification with the demonstration of 15 watt charging modules that are available from several member companies. Bosch is spearheading the development of a 60 watt charging Qi specification  and attracted a lot of attention with its wirelessly charged power tool line. It is apparent that the general population has now heard of wireless charging and many have incorporated it into their lifestyles. The  continuing innovation display showed a selection of current and prototype products emphasizing that Qi is an evolving standard that will continue to incorporate more products and higher power for future requirements.
