Malmö, Sweden – This year the WPC emphasized the integration of Qi wireless charging into the consumer’s lifestyle with displays of Qi charging in the home, auto, work and public locations. New developments for the evolving Qi standard including multiple device charging and increased “z” height (up to 40mm) were demonstrated in in the technology display. Also displayed in the technology section were a prototype 15 watt charger from Convenient Power and a 15 watt development kit using the Rohm chipset.
