TESTING SYSTEMS

CATS II

CATS II wireless charging testing systems are the world’s most powerful measurement tools for wireless charging, offering peerless accuracy and flexibility.

Developed through our shared vision with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) on the future of wireless power technology, CATS II systems are designed to flexibly adapt to new standard updates and developments, making them uniquely forward compatible with the Qi wireless power standard and allowing designers and developers to create completely new solutions that will be 100% aligned with the global standard.

CATS II wireless charging testing systems are WPC certified and compatible with Qi, Frequency 326 and Typhoon wireless charging standards. The Mobile Device Tester (MDT) is for product development and compliance testing of mobile devices and power receivers, while the Base Station Tester (BST) is for base stations and power transmitters.

CATS I

As precursors to CATS II, versatile CATS I wireless charging testing systems were the first compliance tools validated and certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). CATS I systems are the perfect solution for a wide range of low-power (up to 5 Watts) test cases.

CATS I systems consist of a Base Station Tester (BST) for use with power transmitters and Mobile Device Tester (MDT) for use in product development incorporating Qi.

CATS I wireless charging testing systems are only compatible with the Qi wireless charging specification.

BASE

BASE wireless charging testing systems possess all the performance capabilities of the CATS systems but in a more simplified, highly adaptable format designed for quick product evaluation. Like the CATS I and II systems, it consists of both a Base Station Tester (BST), for evaluating power transmitters, and a Mobile Device Tester (MDT) for product development.

With a simpler setup and configuration than CATS I and II systems, BASE wireless power testing systems flags products with a clear ‘Go’ or ‘No-Go’ classification, making it ideal for integration into a production line where products with a ‘No-Go’ result can be quickly identified and removed for further investigation. BASE systems can also be used as stand-alone test systems with research and development where quick and accurate results are needed to make fast decisions.

BASE wireless charging testing systems are only compatible with the Qi wireless charging specification.

EVA III

EVA III is the first comprehensive set of evaluation and compliance tools designed for performance testing and evaluation of wireless power devices within the emerging Cordless Kitchen specification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).

The EVA III system includes two primary units: the Base Station Tester (BST), with separate load boxes to test a transmitter, and the Mobile Device Tester (MDT) to test a receiver. In addition to this core configuration, the system features a dynamic user interface that provides adjustable settings and parameters to fit a wide range of individual product development and evaluation needs.

RERX

RERX is the new reference receiver for regulatory certification of wireless power transmitter products within the Qi standard by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). It is designed specifically for use in EMC chambers and during product certification.

The RERX is a battery-supplied standalone system without any external connections required during operation. Both settings and operation data are stored and can be accessed through a USB connection. The RERX system includes one receiver coil and a control unit, both designed specifically for low emission use, and it features a dynamic user interface with intuitive settings for flexible, easy adjustments.
